Its purpose is to inform and teach the wider community about the beliefs, practices and traditions of the Hearth.  The format of the evening can vary from short to long talks, workshops and path working/meditation on a diverse range of spiritual topics with a Pagan flavour.  The sessions are led by Anna Franklin or other coven members and sometimes include invited speakers.

When is it held?

The Outer Circle is held on the first Monday of each calendar month, except September.   It starts at 7.30 pm and finishes at 10.00 pm.

Who can attend?

All genuine seekers are welcome, from people new to the path and finding their feet to old hands.  We have a lot to learn from each other. You don't need to contact us to ask whether you can come - just come along!

What does it cost?

There is a small charge of £2to attend the Outer Circle sessions, which covers the room hire and refreshments.

Are there any other activities?

We run the Mercian Gathering, Britain's largest Pagan camp. We also have a number of smaller camps during the year for Hearth members at the cost of £5-£10. In addition, we run weekend and day workshops, a bi-annual foreign trip, occasional day trips, and attend other Pagan camps as a Hearth.  We have Halloween and Yule parties and our own company of archers called the Hwicce Bowmen. See a programme of activities here.
