HEARTH OF ARIANRHOD

The Hearth of Arianrhod practices Wicce and is based on the Leicestershire/Warwickshire border in the UK.
We are a hearth of the Coranieid Clan.
HEARTH ACTIVITIES
Working Coven- which meets for ritual.
Dedicate and Initiate Training Programmes within the Coven.
Outer Circle - an essential part of the Hearth family, an entity in itself; some people choose to remain there and progress no further. The Outer Circle celebrates its own rituals at the seasonal camps, and joins with the coven in many of its activities. It meets the first Monday of the month [except September] at the Spiritual Fellowship Centre, Bond Street, Nuneaton, Warks, UK at 7.30pm till 10 pm. Each month we have a talk, perhaps a pathworking, practical work and time to socialise. There is a small charge of £2 to cover room hire and refreshments. All are welcome, just come along.
Hearth Camps- we have around four Hearth Camps a year, open to members of the Outer Circle with ritual, workshops, camping, the sharing of food and practical work. Depending on where we camp, the cost is £5-£20 for the weekend. These camps enable people to study in more depth subjects covered in the monthly Outer Circle, and to get to know other members better.
Day Courses- Hearth members run a number of day or weekend courses during the course of the year on subjects as diverse as herbs, crystal healing, reiki, animal powers etc. Charges for these are made at the discretion of the tutor.
The Mercian Gathering- this is our big open event of the year, and is currently Britain's most popular Pagan camp. We have talks, workshops, rituals, archery, entertainment and three days of camping and sharing, honouring the Old Gods.
The Wicce Bowmen- company of archers
Hiking Group- an occasional meet up for a good long walk
Annual Foreign Trip- trips have included Malta, Egypt and Cyprus
THE HEARTH STRUCTURE
We have a fixed structure of teaching and advancement, based on traditional Craft principles, which experience has shown to work better than any other:
There is always a waiting list for membership of the coven, and only those who show the most dedication will be chosen. Before anyone is considered for Coven membership, we ask they they attend the Outer Circle on a regular basis for a year, even if they have previous experience in the Craft. This structure tests the dedication and commitment of candidates, and takes learning at its proper pace. If you want to join the Hearth, we ask that you honour it, and do not try to short-cut or bypass it. The structure gives you exactly the right amount of time to get to know us and our ways, and for us to get to know you.
In addition to Coven and Outer Circle members, we have associate members who keep in touch by post and receive a monthly newsletter and magazine, and virtual members on the internet.
